How far in advance do I need to schedule a pump or conveyor?
Providing ample notice greatly facilitates scheduling flexibility and ensures we accommodate your preferred timeframe. While we acknowledge the unpredictable nature of the industry and the myriad variables affecting each job, typically, a lead time of 1-2 days enables us to meet your requirements. However, in emergency situations, we are commited to doing our utmost to promptly accomodate your pump or conveyor needs.
How far do your pumps and conveyors reach?
Our pumps range from a 58 meter (165' reach) to a 68 meter (185' reach). Conveyors range from a 100 telebelt (105' horizontal reach) to a 130 telebelt (129' horizontal reach).
Can you pump over powerlines?
No. Safety is our top priority, and we strictly avoid pumping over power lines. We ensure a minimum of 20 feet of clearance around overhead lines. However, our conveyors can safely navigate underneath such lines. For any queries or concerns about a job site, feel free to call us, and we'll gladly conduct a complimentary pre-job inspection to address your questions.
How much extra material do I need to order when using a pump?
Pumps require an extra yard of material to prime. Priming is essential for ensuring the pump functions optimally and delivers the concrete smoothly to the desired location. This extra yard accounts for the material needed to initiate the pumping system, covering the hose and pump mechanism.
